Sounds like Giardia to me. We all had it as a family and the recurring bouts is a classic symptom. I would strongly recommend testing all family members for it. Even if you practice excellent hygiene, you can still get it from your water.( We did- it was in the town well. Can also be easily gotten from fresh water sources,i.e rivers, streams, creeks, etc..)
