(1) Alice, To the reader who wrote My boyfriend hits me...: If you don't mind me saying, as a man, I believe it is wrong for a man to lay his hands on a woman in that manner. In fact if he does, he is no man, but a craven, a coward. You should leave that man right away, he is dangerous and violent, and old dogs never change. Please, please follow my advice, or the consequences may be grievious.
[back to top] Honey, Are you crazy? Leave! Don't waste any more of your precious time. A question to ask yourself: would I hit someone I loved and respected? This guy is all about himself and control. When you find someone else, remember this: love is more than a 50-50 relationship. Love is 75-75 — it is everything over 100 percent that makes it work.
[back to top] OMG, please don't go back to him! If he hits you he doesn't deserve you!! I know what you're going through. I just broke up with someone who I was with for three years... he hit me once and I said "that's it." Don't put up with that. If you go back to him he'll know that everytime he hits you that you'll forgive him. There are plenty of guys out there that would never dream of hitting. So what if it takes you a month to meet one? It's better than being hit and beat up!!! Plus, have fun being single and meeting people! A guy that hits normally doesn't like his partner to go out much... so go to clubs, go to bars, parties, everything. Live it up and meet people! Just remember... fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I wish you the best of luck.
