Dear Alice,
All benzos are highly addictive, and Xanax, Valium, and Librium are the worst, because they have the most dangerous detoxes (seizures, etc.). When I went through rehab in 1989, it took them three weeks to detox me from Xanax... and I had NEVER taken more than directed; usually less on a daily basis. Problem was that due to a helpful doc, I took them for 6 years. zen
