Thanks for writing in with your salivating suggestion. Yes, saliva has worked as an adequate lube for some women when being orally pleasured by their partners. Cunnilingus can allow the vaginal juices to grow and flow in abundance, to better ready the woman for easier and more enjoyable intercourse. Other women, however, may find that saliva on its own does not work as well as a lube. It may act as a "lube" temporarily, but once it evaporates, removing moisture in the process, they can end up being dryer than before. For these women, delaying intercourse with various forms of foreplay, such as deep, passionate kissing, dry humping, fingering, mutual masturbation, oral sex, and/or some other arousal-producing activity, until a woman is sufficiently turned on and producing enough of her own natural lube would be a better bet. It may take a bit more time to reach these women's fully aroused states, but the fun, excitement, and gratifying rewards that build up along the way will make the trip there more than worthwhile.
