To the reader:
I'm Indian, but I've had the same "problems" thoughout my life, so I sympathize. I put "problems" in quotes because it sounds like you're an open-minded person, and have exactly the kind of mentality Dr. King was envisioning. The problem is, sometimes people who are very forward-thinking have to go it alone for a while. I had to, but I should say it doesn't necessarily mean you would have to. Easier said that done, but remember that you're the one who's taking the high road by being open to everyone and everything. There's a saying I love that says "If you mingle with people who are like you, you've only met one person." It's great to keep this in mind.
