I've heard from a number of people, and have experienced this myself, that having an orgasm can clear a congested nose. It probably has something to do with the dilation of blood vessels that occurs during orgasm, and I would guess that that dilation isn't just limited to the genital area. Your nose will get all congested again, though, in a short period of time. So you're right Alice, a decongestant is probably better for a stuffy/runny nose than sex. Just make sure you don't take one that makes you too sleepy to be interested in having sex!
